In the beginning of 2017 we developed an economical driving index based on the driving behaviour data from our Fleet Management Solution.
The index is based on several parameters that all have an impact on the driving behaviour. The project was named Smart Bulk.
Reducing Emissions
Reducing emissions and thereby our carbon footprint is of great importance to us.
That is why we have invested heavily in economical driving. In addition to lowering fuel consumption, it also improves traffic safety.
ECO-Driving Index
The Eco-Driving Index is a calculation of the overall eco-driving performance of a driver. It is based on six measurements, focusing on the behaviour of the driver:
- Overspeed
- Idle
- Rollout
- Coasting
- Wasted energy
- Harsh braking
